- Jun 20, 2016 I have a 1998 swift conqueror 640 salon and a tug with a Swan neck. Ive bought a second hand aks 2000 stabiliser to fit. Looking at my old hitch it has 2 securing bolts fitted horizontally. My new hitch seems to have 1 securing bolt fitted horizontally and the rear bolt would be fitted vertically.

Four specially designed friction pads work to effectively suppress the initial signs of caravan instability and snaking movements, providing excellent ride comfort for your car and caravan combination. The AKS 3004 stabiliser pack also includes an extended neck towball (to ensure you are using the correct towball for the stabiliser), towball cover and all necessary fixings. Ensure towball is clean, dry and free of paint and grease.

Not suitable for use with:
- Overrun devices which can revolve above 25°
- BPW overruns fitted with gas strut handbrakes from 2001 model year onwards

AL-KO Security Devices provide a substantial deterrent against the theft of the caravan and the stabiliser. Designed to lock over the coupling handle, and enabling the stabiliser handle to be lowered, the hitch lock can remain on your vehicle even when towing. When not coupled up, insert the safety ball within the coupling head before applying the hitch lock to prevent the caravan from being coupled to another vehicle.
