Considering the changing nature of the workplace, reliance on cloud-based services has increased dramatically. They have become fixtures in our daily lives. After I purchased the license Aventis called me and I gave them my servers server code and then later that day I was e-mailed the XML license key. If you are looking for an IDRAC license this is by far the best deal you're ever gonna find. Since iDRAC authenticates using your service tag, if you go back, the license will revert to idrac basic. This obviously isn't a solution for business because duplicate service tags will cause big problems on your network during deployment, and if somebody decides to call in for service. Once you are logged in, you will click on the 'licenses' link on the left hand column. When you are in the 'licenses' section there is a drop down box with the options to 'import,' 'export,' or delete. If you are trying to export it will save as an 'XML' file and it will be named after the service tag that the IDRAC is tied to. Unfortunately I missed the email as it was 'From:' and 'Reply-To:' noreplay@dell.com and the lack of a traditional 'To:' resulted in my spamfilter stepping in. I am now registering to use Dell EMC Administrative Chat to request the registration key so I can access the iDRAC license, as that appears to be the most suitable link on the Contact. ( If you are familiar with HPe ProLiant servers, the iDRAC serves a similar function as the iLO.) iDRAC provides a secure out-of-band, agent-less connection to allow for a user to manage the.
