How to gift your free copy of Portal 2 that comes with the PS3 version
(for those of you with generous hearts, or who own a PS3 but their PC's aren't able to run it)
If done correctly, both you AND your friend will be able to play Portal 2 online simultaneously (you on the PS3 and s/he on the PC, respectively).
OBVIOUSLY If you give away your Steam copy of Portal 2, you WILL NOT be able to redeem it later for your own PC. The Portal 2 code is limited to ONE steam account.

NOTE: This will NOT WORK if you've ALREADY ACTIVATED/REDEEMED the free Steam download that comes with your copy of the PS3 game.
Step 1. Have a friend who's purchasing/purchased Portal 2 for the PS3, who DOES NOT want/need their copy for Steam on the PC.
Step 3. READ STEP 4 TWICE. YOU CANNOT UNDO IT IF YOU MESS THIS PART UP.
Step 4. Insert Portal 2 and link it to the Steam account OF THE PERSON YOU WISH TO GIFT YOUR COPY OF PORTAL 2 (not your own)
- This WILL require the account credentials of the other person's Steam account. I am not taking responsibility for you getting your Steam account hacked or banned for any reason (whether related to this tutorial or not).
- As a tip, change your Steam password to something you're not using for anything else.. ESPECIALLY the email your steam is linked with.
Step 5. While leaving Portal 2 running on the PC and online, Activate your Steam copy by, 'Games > Activate a Product on Steam... > Next > I Agree' then enter the Portal 2 code found inside your Portal 2 box for the PS3.
